Public Library Spotlight: Boston Public Library
No better place to start with this new feature on Ms. M's Blog than with the first large free municipal library in the country, the Boston Public Library. You can read all about the history, the special collections and even visit the gift shop, but today I encourage you to spend some time getting familiar with the abundant resources and opportunities available online and for free. Recently, I attended an online seminar in Genealogy. People from all of the country were enrolled in the online class that was exception in quality. There are a ton of resources online and a visit to the Central Library on Boylston Street is a must if you are visiting Boston. Book recommendations, art exhibits, reading challenges, computer use, homework help, family programs, music production, tax assistance are just a few of the many things you can do at the Central Branch or one of the 26 branches in the neighborhoods of Boston. If you live in Boston, a library card is free and it will open the doors to so many wonderful resources. If you don't live in Boston, check out the library in your community. Libraries offer a wide range of resources based on the patrons in their communities with a focus on lifelong learning - and that's what keeps us young at heart. National Library Week is right around the corner, April 6-12, 2025. Make a plan to get "Drawn to the Library!"

Site Clean Up Almost Complete
I've spent almost 6 weeks cleaning up the site. Fixing links and making sure that if you want to purchase a book you can do so at Bookshop.org If you find an Amazon link please consider going to Bookshop.org instead! Once again, I make no money from book sales, I just want you to enjoy reading.
About Bookshop.org from Bookshop.org;
